Architecture & Construction Documentation Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer Project
Join a remote, contract opportunity supporting next-generation AI systems for the built environment. You’ll leverage your foundational knowledge of architectural drafting and documentation to review model outputs, identify errors, and enhance data quality for design professionals. Compensation ranges from $6 to $10 per hour, determined by your experience and location. As a contractor, you’ll provide your own secure equipment and internet; health insurance and PTO are not included.
Key requirements include hands-on experience reading architectural drawings such as floor plans, elevations, and sections, familiarity with architectural document organization and sheet formats, and proficiency with tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or PlanGrid. Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess drawing accuracy are essential. Experience with data labeling platforms or machine learning workflows is a plus but not mandatory.
We are seeking early-career professionals with foundational exposure to architecture to support the development of next-generation AI systems. In this project, you will apply your understanding of architectural drafting principles and architectural documentation to review model outputs, identify errors, and contribute to higher-quality datasets built for professionals working in design and documentation within the built environment.
The ideal experience contains hands-on experience reading common architectural drawing types such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and basic detail drawings, along with general familiarity with architectural sheet organization, CSI-formatted specifications at a high level, and drawing schedules commonly used in architectural sets. You should be comfortable navigating architectural drawing packages, recognizing standard architectural symbols and annotations, and interpreting title blocks, tags, keynotes, and callouts. Strong attention to detail is essential, as you will help maintain accuracy and consistency across repetitive, drawing-intensive review tasks.
Introductory experience with architectural software and review tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or PlanGrid, and be able to assess whether architectural information is presented clearly, consistently, and in alignment with common documentation conventions. While not required, any exposure to data labeling platforms, machine-learning training workflows, or computer-vision concepts is a welcome addition. You will work closely with internal teams to follow established quality standards, surface ambiguities in architectural content, and contribute to the creation of clean, architecture-specific datasets that improve how AI systems interpret drawings and design information.
If you are excited by the opportunity to apply your architectural knowledge in a structured, detail-oriented environment—and you are motivated by shaping how advanced AI models learn to understand architectural documentation—this project offers a meaningful way to support tools used by architects and design teams around the world.
We offer a pay range of $6 to $10 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above. As a contractor you’ll supply a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
