Description: Job Title: Backend Engineer (2-5 Years Experience) 100% Remote Working hours/ time zone: CET Contract duration: 6 MONTHS

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic technology team. This role is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our innovative products. You will play a key role in building robust micro services architectures and integrating intelligent AI capabilities through well-designed APIs. Your work will directly impact the performance, scalability, and reliability of our services, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using micro services architecture.
Build and expose secure, high-performance APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
Collaborate closely with AI teams to integrate AI models and services into backend workflows.
Optimize backend performance and ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality code standards.
Work with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Continuously research and implement best practices in backend development, microservices, and API design.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
Proven experience designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Experience working with AI integration or related machine learning service deployment is highly desirable.
Solid knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Tools and Technologies:

Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
Experience with microservices frameworks and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with API development and documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
Exposure to AI frameworks or platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud AI services is a plus.
Version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
