SCOPE OF WORK

Design Pipeline Maintenance (B1-P)

Maintain and optimize existing pipelines for Yocto image and AAOSP building.

Integration of pipelines from other teams (Gitlab and Jenkins).

Troubleshoot pipeline issues as they arise.

AC/Deliverables:

  • Optimized and maintained Continuous Integration pipelines.
  • Regularly updated and tested images.

AAOSP Development (B1-P)

Contribute on AAOSP project development.

Building emulator image for multi platforms (X86_64, ARM or cloud based any other).

Automation and Testing (B1-P)

Implement automated testing processes within the pipeline to ensure image quality.

Automate building of images for different platforms (x86_64, ARM, etc).

Automate creation of Release Notes.

Automated security scanning and reporting.

Write infrastructure as code to recreate pipeline, repositories, and components.

Documentation (B1-P)

Maintain Release Strategy in Confluence.

Provide regular knowledge transfer to our internal team for future maintenance and troubleshooting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid experience in managing Gitlab/Jenkins pipelines for image building.
  • Solid experience in managing Azure resources and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Yocto Project, AAOS (Android Automation OS).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices and tools.
  • Expertise in version control systems and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • AOSP (Android Open Source Project) build system, Android framework, Android booting and system partitioning, system services, system applications, HAL implementation and extension.
  • Virtualization technologies used in Android such as virtIO, kvm, Qemu, crosvm.
  • In-depth understanding of Android Framework AOSP, embedded systems, and Automotive software development.
