About You
The Implementation Specialist will contribute to the successful implementation of our ecoPortal software solutions for large companies in compliance with best practices and processes. You will work with a variety of stakeholders including Project Managers, Product Managers, and Developers, as well as client project teams to provide the best solution for our clients. You will also work closely with the Auckland-based Solutions team on improving and updating existing clients' sites.
You will be responsible for the appropriate design, setup, configuration, customization, testing, delivery, documentation and transition to support the solution, either directly or through delegation to other analysts or partners, and through technical and functional reviews. You will participate in design sessions and workshops, in all relevant project meetings and any knowledge transfer with various other project stakeholders, internal and external.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical and functional requirement gathering meetings and calls with Project Managers, Client Success Managers, and clients. Identify change requests on projects and raise them with relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively manage workloads across multiple projects, led by different Project Managers or Client Success Managers.
- Analyze technical feasibility and propose solutions to meet client requirements
- Setup and configure software solutions for clients
- Provide technical acumen to fluently discuss product, subject matter domain, best practices, and strategies to achieve results
- Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the ecoPortal platform
- Share best practice recommendations with clients and partners, ensuring an optimal use of the software
- Regularly contribute to process improvements and best practices
- Comply with ecoPortal processes linked to Reporting (Timesheets, etc.), issues resolution (Software, Helpdesk), etc.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with at least 2 of the following: HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS or other web-based technologies
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical degree OR equivalent Software Services Consulting experience
- Experience with database design concepts (SQL and/or Oracle)
- Experience with managing, administration and use of complex enterprise software systems
We have a great work culture and work/life balance, with 37h work weeks, and core office hours of Mon-Fri 8:00 to 16:00 New Zealand Standard Time (UTC+12). This full-time permanent position includes 4 weeks of paid annual leave as part of your contract.
