About the team

Proto’s team is extremely global with 80% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Colour) and 50% female management working across 15+ countries. We’re a remote team of self-starting and entrepreneurial SaaS engineers, operations and growth professionals. Our remote team follows established processes for cross-cultural and timezone collaboration, with opportunities to periodic in-person work opportunities.

Job Summary

As a Prompt Engineer at Proto, you will craft and refine GPT-powered chatbots and workflows, combining your AI expertise with exceptional client management skills. With a solid background in tech and at least 6 months in client-facing roles, you'll drive implementations and migrations from concept to completion, using your analytical skills to improve chatbot and overall Proto AICX performance for each client. Your role involves translating technical details into clear client communications and tailoring solutions across various industries, ensuring client objectives are met with precision and creativity.

Requirements

  • Chatbots and GPT expertise. Proven experience in setting up and optimising GPT-powered chatbots and workflows using prompts. Skilled in enhancing chatbot interactions and automating processes within the Proto platform or similar.
  • Client goals understanding. Ability to collaborate with clients, grasp their objectives, and craft effective GPT-powered prompts to boost engagement and customer support outcomes.
  • Analytical and testing proficiency. Strong analytical abilities to evaluate GPT-powered chatbots' performance, conduct A/B tests, and refine strategies based on insights.
  • Client management experience. Minimum 6 months in client-facing roles within tech, showcasing a track record of understanding client needs and delivering customised solutions.
  • Project management skills. Demonstrated capability to manage and deliver projects from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and timely completion.
  • Communication excellence. Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients and teams, clarifying technical concepts, and meeting client needs effectively.

  • Industry Knowledge. Understanding of finance, gaming, health, and government sectors to tailor chatbot solutions more effectively.
  • Understanding of NLP.
