MCP & Agentic AI Solutions Architect – Autonomous Workflow Layer for Internal Sales Application

This is an initial 12-month contract but is likely to extend and offering up to €45 per hour (depending on experience). You must have your own ltd company / sole proprietorship. Please confirm you are happy with these conditions?

About the Client

The client is a global provider of professional construction tools, technologies, and services. Operating in more than 120 countries, they are recognized for innovation and a close partnership with construction professionals. Their internal sales organization is exploring how modern AI agents can automate and orchestrate complex sales workflows.

Product Context

This role contributes directly to the autonomous workflow layer of the internal Sales application. The purpose of this layer is to orchestrate intelligent agents that analyze calls, generate next actions, propose meetings, update calendars, and connect seamlessly with backend and CRM systems. These agentic capabilities will be one of the most innovative aspects of the application.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Architect specializing in MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agentic AI to design orchestration mechanisms for autonomous workflows within the Sales application. You will design multi-step reasoning chains, tool-use patterns, and integrations that allow AI agents to act reliably and safely on behalf of sales users.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect agentic AI frameworks that drive autonomous workflows inside the Sales application.
• Use MCP for context sharing, tool orchestration, and multi-step reasoning.
• Choose and/or evaluate suitable orchestration technologies (graph-based frameworks, workflow engines, custom pipelines).
• Design agent flows that interact with backend APIs, Azure AI components, and MS Fabric datasets.
• Build POCs demonstrating how agents streamline specific sales tasks.
• Establish safety guardrails, monitoring, and fallback behavior.
• Document agent designs, decision flows, and integration points across the app.

Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of MCP and agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with any agent framework (not tied to a single vendor or product).
• Strong Python and API integration skills.
• Knowledge of embeddings, retrieval, and context management.
• Ability to design safe and reliable automation workflows.
