Statistics Expert (Python) - Freelance AI Trainer
Mindrift connects specialists with leading tech companies to support project-based AI initiatives worldwide, operating fully remotely on a contract basis. Contributors will craft statistical problems, evaluate AI solutions, validate calculations using Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn), and enhance AI logic according to industry standards. Commitment is part-time (10–20 hours/week during active project phases), and compensation can reach up to $39/hour, varying by project scope and expertise.
Applicants should have a degree in Statistics or a related field, at least 3 years of mathematics experience, strong Python proficiency, and C1/C2 English writing skills. A stable internet connection is required. Professional certifications (e.g., PStat, CAP, SAS) and experience in global or applied projects are advantageous.
Contributors join individual projects following a qualification process. Please note: this is not permanent employment but an opportunity to work flexibly and gain experience on cutting-edge AI evaluation projects.

What we look for
This opportunity is a good fit for statisticians with an experience in python open to part-time, non-permanent projects. Ideally, contributors will have:
- Degree in Statistics or related fields, e.g. Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Statistics, etc.
- 3+ years of professional mathematics experience
- Strong written English (C1/C2)
- Strong Python proficiency for numerical validation
- Stable internet connection
Professional certifications (e.g., PStat, CAP, SAS Certifications) and experience in international or applied projects are an advantage.
