Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Backend Developer to spearhead the development of robust and scalable backend systems for Fintech and Insurance projects. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on coding, and team mentorship to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on solution design, coding, deployment and debugging.
- To brainstorm solutions and design robust, highly scalable applications that can withstand high traffic with minimum down time together with engineers from other countries.
- To work closely with product owners, key users, artists and the quality assurance team to ensure deliverables are as per expectation.
- To assist in service migration planning and the design of failover.
- Develop ideas for new products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Troubleshoot applications, conduct performance testing and optimize services to enhance user experience and minimize resource consumption.
- To build reusable code and libraries for future uses.
Job Requirement
Experience:
- Have 10+ years of experience in backend development, with 02~03+ years in a leadership or technical lead role.
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
- Proficient in GraphQL API design and implementation.
- Extensive experience with Apigee or similar API management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for containerized applications.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively in an international setting.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to foster collaboration and inspire teams to achieve goals.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in Fintech or Insurance domains.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and CI/CD practices.

- Competitive monthly salary: 40,000,000 ~ 45,000,000 VND net/month (negotiable for exceptional candidates).

- Contract duration: 3-6 months with the potential for extension based on performance.

- Location: Remote Fulltime
- Working hours: 08 hours/day (9:00 - 18:00) on Monday to Friday
