Role Overview

Away Digital · Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Remote)

Description:

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our social team. You’ll turn raw footage, stock assets, and motion graphics into engaging short-form content tailored for Instagram, YouTube, and X. Working closely with the team, you’ll help develop concepts and deliver polished, trend-savvy videos. The role offers flexibility with remote or hybrid options based on availability and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Content Editing: Edit and optimize video content for Instagram, YouTube, and X, ensuring high-quality, trend-aware execution.

Content Creation: Film and edit original clips like product close-ups or lifestyle hand shots to help mix in with brand-provided assets and expand monthly video output. Create content that blends trending formats with educational, product-focused messaging.

Creative Development: Collaborate with the social team to develop fresh video concepts and ideas each month.

Brand Alignment: Ensure all edits reflect Sesh’s aesthetic, tone, and messaging.

Trend Tracking: Stay up-to-date with platform updates, social trends, and emerging editing styles.

Technical Execution: Format and resize content for different platforms and aspect ratios. Add captions, transitions, and effects to maximize engagement.

Asset Management: Organize and maintain video assets for smooth workflows.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication English skills

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for social platforms (IG, YT, TikTok, X).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other professional editing software.
• Experience with graphic design would be ideal.
• Ability to source and integrate stock footage seamlessly with original content.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills.
• Familiarity with current video trends, styles, and social best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience with motion graphics and simple animations is a plus.
