Job Title: Web3 Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Web3 Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to our platform. This role involves building scalable microservices, integrating smart contract data, and developing analytics capabilities that align with top-tier blockchain dApps and ecosystems. You should be keen to onboard the next generation of users to Web3 dApps with onboarding blockchain to the masses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NodeJS, Nest.JS, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, S3, ECS, and EC2.
• Integrate wallet connection, defi protocols (WalletConnect) and query blockchain data (e.g., transaction details, wallet activity).
• Collaborate on building integrations with questing platforms to fetch and map quest participation data.
• Work closely with the frontend team utilizing Next.js or React to ensure seamless data flow and user experience.
• Develop robust analytics tools to process and visualize on-chain data.
• Optimize the backend infrastructure for scalability and reliability in a crypto-heavy environment.
• Implement best practices in smart contract querying and Solidity-based development.
• Keen on pitching new technological stacks, Web3 libraries and SDKs.
• Keen in working in an agile environment.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of backend development experience, including microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, Nest.JS, TypeScript, and AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, EC2).
• Experience with blockchain technologies and Solidity.
• Strong understanding of Web3 tools, including wallet connection protocols and querying transaction data.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly Next.js or React.
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and handling complex data structures from third-party platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to process large datasets.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English based-documents which will involve Technical design documents, Technical diagrams and more.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on blockchain and web3-heavy platforms and dApps.
• Experience working on EVM tools and Ethereum Mainnet, other Network knowledges are good to have.
• Knowledge of analytics platforms and data visualization tools.
• Awareness of trends in blockchain development and crypto technologies, consistent use of twitter to engage with other fellow developers and projects.
• Keen to explore API integration details with privy.io, new login/wallet connect implementations.
