Mindrift is offering a flexible, remote, freelance opportunity for experienced Kotlin developers to contribute as AI Tutors in Coding. Collaborating with top tech innovators, you’ll design technical content, code samples, and developer guides, ensuring quality and practical application in AI-driven projects. Compensation ranges up to $12/hour (rate varies by skills and project), and you can work part-time around your schedule, influencing how AI interacts with specialized technical topics.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields and at least 3+ years of Kotlin development experience (Android or server-side). Expertise in JVM, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean), asynchronous programming, DI frameworks, CI/CD, Docker, cloud platforms, and secure coding is required. Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, messaging queues, and both SQL/NoSQL databases is essential. Advanced English proficiency (C1+) and current residency in the specified country are mandatory.

- 3+ years of Kotlin development (Android or server-side).
- Strong knowledge of JVM ecosystem and Java interoperability.
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, modern architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Proficiency with coroutines, flows, async programming.
- Familiarity with DI frameworks (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).
- Git workflows, code reviews, Agile/Scrum.
- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Secure coding practices (OWASP).
- Debugging and optimization skills.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed system interfaces.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Database experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with enterprise security frameworks and OAuth2/JWT.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and CQRS patterns.
- Level of English is advanced (C1) or above.
