Job Summary

-We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the offering of our group products and services into Vietnam. 

-The GM will be responsible for driving business growth, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

-The GM will also be responsible for hiring and managing the team responsible for business outcomes with respect to Vietnam.

-This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the local market and business environment.

-The successful candidate must be based in Vietnam, have an excellent command of Vietnamese and strong fluency in English.

-The candidate should possess strong technical and product understanding of digital assets and the general ecosystem. 

-The candidate must have business, regulatory and governmental experience at a fast-paced start-up environment in a regulated sector, as well as stakeholder relationships in Vietnam. 

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets in Vietnam.
Lead and manage all aspects of the Vietnam operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and government authorities.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost control.
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Drive a high-performance culture by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to align local operations with overall company strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Strong government relations in Vietnam.
Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in a senior management role, preferably as a General Manager or Country Manager.
Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese market, business practices, and regulatory environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Commercial enough to handle a JV
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Bilingual English/Vietnamese is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
Experience in crypto/ technology/financial services/Internet industry is a plus.
