Description: Publishing Manager, Vietnam
Location: Remote (Vietnam-based)
Type: Full-time
About PlayWill
We're an Istanbul-based mobile game publisher built around a sharp, hands-on team with deep expertise in UA, creative, product, and live ops. We work primarily in the casual and hybrid-casual space, and we're now expanding our publishing pipeline into Southeast Asia, starting with Vietnam. This is our first hire in the country. You'll have real ownership and direct exposure to leadership from day one.
The Role
You'll be PlayWill's boots on the ground in Vietnam: finding studios, building relationships, and bringing the best of Vietnam's mobile gaming ecosystem into our publishing portfolio. This isn't a corporate account management job. You'll be hunting, qualifying, and shaping deals, with full support from our HQ team on the technical, creative, and commercial side.
What you'll do
- Build a pipeline of mobile game studios across Vietnam: indies, mid-size studios, and solo developers
- Source 5 to 10 qualified prototypes per month for evaluation by our publishing team
- Attend local game dev events, meetups, and conferences as PlayWill's representative (GameVerse Asia, VGDC, indie meetups)
- Evaluate games against PlayWill's publishing criteria: hook strength, retention signals, market fit
- Manage ongoing studio relationships from first contact through signed deal
- Support deal structuring and negotiation alongside HQ
- Provide market intelligence on Vietnamese gaming trends, talent moves, and competitor activity
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in mobile gaming
- Existing network within Vietnam's mobile game development community
- Strong grasp of casual, hybrid-casual, and puzzle genres and their KPIs (CPI, D1/D7 retention, ARPDAU, LTV)
- Sharp judgment on what makes a game scalable. You can read a prototype and form a defensible opinion.
- Self-starter who doesn't need daily supervision
Nice to have
- Prior experience at a mobile publisher
- Track record of sourced deals that reached global launch
- Familiarity with MMPs (Adjust, AppsFlyer, Singular) and major ad networks
- Existing relationships with Vietnamese studio founders or producers
What we offer
- Competitive base salary plus performance bonus tied to signed deals reaching launch
- Remote-first with quarterly travel to Istanbul HQ
- Direct line to the founder. No layers, no politics.
- Real ownership over PlayWill's Southeast Asia expansion
